A few days before Valentine’s Day, I was preparing what to wear. It was a secret, casual meeting with my boyfriend. I’ve noticed that black is a color to wear since my last encounter with him (by wearing black, it emphasized the contrast between us). All clothes that I own are either black or white. It was also cold outside so it was easy for me to choose a cozy top and jeans. I chose a simple black sweater, a black leather jacket and finished it off with silver shoes.

When deciding on what to wear for Valentine’s Day, we suggest that you avoid “holiday fashion”, as in, make sure your outfit isn’t too over-the-top. Be yourself and wear the clothes that make you feel happy – this is just a fun night to break out some funky shoes and get creative with your look!
If going out: wear something festive and flirty for this night of romance. High-waisted skirts or shorts paired with an oversized tee will work nicely as well as any dress which features sequins or lace. Add some high heels to complete the look. When bringing your significant other to a casual Valentine’s night out, it’s best to dress nice, but not too fancy. No need to go all out, but it is okay to dress up if you’d like.

If staying in: we suggest that you wear something simple and comfortable. Jeans and pairs of tights or leggings with a cute shirt or sweater are no-brainers here! Throw on some fuzzy socks and you’ll be ready for the day! We recommend that you go for something comfortable, as well as easy on the eyes. No need to get too fancy. Just do what you’d normally wear out, and it’ll work for this occasion.

1. Jeans and a sweater: You know when the weather starts to get chilly, this is a great way to keep warm while still being able to dress casually in jeans and such. Jeans are great for days out and about, but if you want to be a bit more sophisticated, this is a great way of going casual without risking looking like you just rolled out of bed.
2. Jeans and a shirt: This can be in any color or style; it’s all about what works for you.
3. For a top, you can choose a plain white blouse, and layer it with a black blazer to go over the top. t.
4. If you don’t want to wear anything too fancy or revealing if you want to go for a simple look, it can be either a dress, skirt and top or a jumpsuit. Just make sure to keep it in red or pink.
